Description:Woollen cross-stitch scene with plastic oval frame. Scene shows a house, church and pathway. It was made by Captain Margaret Barclay during the Falklands War during the evenings and off duty periods.

Belonged to Captain Margaret Barclay of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, who served in the Falklands War in 1982. From Eccleshall in Staffordshire, she served as army Theatre Sister in Port Stanley for six months during the Falklands Conflict.
