Description:Vehicle used by Jim Taylor for his Public Address business. This vehicle contained equipment such as record players and microphones, with loudspeakers sometimes placed on the top of the lower vehicle. The box on the top provided a clear view of the arena for the commentator, a role usually carried out by Jim Taylor who also provided music. The location of this event is unknown.

Taylor's Public Address Service was based at Kingsley, near Cheadle. Jim Taylor was an RAF Sergeant in Signals in the Cheadle area during the 2nd World War. After the war he started his Public Address Service in Kingsley and travelled all over the country working at County Shows, gymkanas, fairs and other public events. He continued with the business well into his eighties.
