Description:East north east prospect of the town, showing castle hill in the middle behind the town.Inscribed 'To the right Honble. and truly noble Lord ROBERT Lord FERRERS Master of ye HORSE to ye QUEEN and high Steward of the Towne of STAFFORD. This 34 Table Being the E.N.E. Prospect of the said towne, taken from Coton Hill with all imaginable veneration is consecrated by R.P.L.L.D.' Engraved by Michael Burghers for Robert Plot's 'Natural History of Staffordshire', first published in 1686.
