CASE III. Joseph Walton, of Hanley

He was compelled to take one third of his wages in Truck.- He sold a pig to his Master at five pence per pound, which he sold on to his men at seven pence per pound.

CASE IV. Jacob Wood, of Burslem

Worked for a Truck Master for several months. His wages had not averaged twelve shillings a week in that time. He had to pay his rent in Truck because he had no money.

CASE V. James Goodwin, of Hanley

Claims he was payed in Truck of inferior quality and charged at an extravagant price.

CASE VI. William birch, of Shelton

Worked for a Truck Master for twelve months. Was paid most of his wages in Truck at up to 40% of the market price and had to pay his rent in goods.
