Date:7th of April 1810

Description:The reverse side of the job advertisement contains some hand-written notes in, what appears to be, Wood's handwriting.

They seem to be wage calculations for a worker named Ephraim Vernon.

The notes go on to read;

NB The whole of his loss out of the Oven in the last fortnight was one leg pan sack only, which would have made a good sound second, but Vernon carried it away he said, to get his ashes out with.

NB See how compassionate workers are when work is wanted.
