Date:1991

Description:A view of the interior of the Sandonia after the Bingo club had left, just before the Snooker Club installed a false ceiling. The colour scheme dates from the cinema's use as a Bingo Hall and is not original.

The theatre was opened in 1920, but was never a great success either as a theatre or cinema. It closed in the 1960s and became a bingo hall, before being occupied by a snooker club in 1991.
