Description:'On the South side of the church lyeth this Grave Stone of marble, the figures are of Brasse.' The gravestone is inscribed, 'Pray for the soules of John Egerton esquire and Elyn his wyff the wch. John deceased the first day of Aprill in ye yeare of our Lord God MVLXIII on whose soules Thu have mercy Amen'.
