Description:Showing St. John's Hospital, [on St. John's Street.] North east view from the road, showing chiefly the chapel with the master's house adjoining to the west. Part of the old range of buildings (a door and three chimneys) are visible to the left. Inscribed: 'To the Rev. Theophilis Buckeridge, Master of St. John's Hospital, Lichfield, this plate is inscribed by his obliged and humble servant, S. Shaw'. Engraved by R.W. Basire after a drawing by Rev. S. Shaw.
