Date:1890 - 1900 (c.)

Description:The Bradbury family were farmers and blacksmiths. They owned Elm Farm, which was demolished in 1967 to make way for modern housing.

Wheelwrights made and repaired wheels for horse-drawn vehicles. They also made ladders, fences, gates and other wooden and metal goods. As tractors replaced horses and factory made rubber tyres became available, the work of the wheelwright disappeared.
