Date:2nd of April 1917

Description:Unveiling of a Stafford boundary post by the Mayor, Richard Young. He is attended by other civic dignitaries and two mace-bearers. This boundary marker is the northern one on Stone Road sited near Tillington House and was one of four unveiled to mark the extension of Stafford Borough in 1917. The others were on Wolverhampton Road, Weston Road and Doxey.
