Description:A similar scene to a present market day in Hanley's Market Square. The large building on the left housing Swynerton's Café and Sherwin's music store was demolished to make way for the Potteries Shopping Centre in 1980.
The buildings in the background are The Angel Hotel and the Grapes, advertising 'Bass only'.
