Description:Cuthbert Thomas Wigham was a noted Lichfield businessman. He took over the grocery on Tamworth Street from John Fowler in 1898 and, as well as the Lichfield store, he then opened further branches in Tamworth, Rugeley, Hednesford, Wilnecote and Whittington. The shop extended to number 10 Tamworth Street, now Hindley's Bakery. He died in 1948 but the shop the store at number 10 continued as Wigham' s Stores until 1965 while Number 12 was demolished in 2000 and became the Hoghead Inn, now the Crown Inn.
