Description:The 16th century timber framed building is pictured here as the Castle Inn, which occupied the building between 1793 and 1962. The image dates between 1933-1936, as James Tonks became publican in 1932/1933 and Arthur's, the butcher shop on the left, closed in 1936 (information courtesy of Mr J. Gallagher).

In 2003 the building was an Oxfam shop.
