Description:The original 13th century church has been largely re-built, although some features remain, including elements of the west tower. The spire was re-built by Ewan Christian in 1870-2. The east window is of reticulated tracery with stained glass by William de Morgan. This window is one of de Morgan's last designs in glass before he moved to concentrate on making lustre tiles, for which he is well known.
The churchyard cross, dating from the 13th century, is the best preserved in Staffordshire.
