Description:Three Shropshire Shearling ewes being judged at the Staffordshire County Show, Stone. Staffordshire Agricultural Society held its first show in Stone in 1844. The annual County Show was originally held at various sites around the county. Since 1958 the County Show has been held at the purpose-built County Show Ground at Hopton, on the outskirts of Stafford. The sheep were owned by Miss M.C. Inge, Thorpe Hall, Thorpe Constantine, Tamworth.
