Description:This photograph shows the propeller blade from the German airship which was brought down in flames at West Hartlepool on a November night in 1916. The propeller blade was recovered from the sea by the 4th South Staffords Regiment. C.E.W. Charington is pictured here on the left, with R.J. Beard on the right.
