Date:10th of November 1943

Description:Between 1942 and 1945 Whittington Barracks were occupied by the 10th Replacement Depot of the US Army. Pictured here are (from the right) Major Brown (British), Major Humphries, Col. Kilian (U.S. Officer in charge of the 10th Replacement Depot), Lt. Col. Aldridge, Lt. Col. Hughes, Lt. Col. Harris, Major Stevens (British), Col. Henderson, and Major Milliner(?).

Majors Brown and Stevens were, respectively, in charge of the Rear Parties of the North Staffords and South Staffords Depots.
