Description:This photograph shows the interior of Tamworth Castle's State Withdrawing Room, furnished by the tenant Thomas Cooke for his family. The room has a superb frieze of the Ferrers, Compton and Shirley families' coat of arms, who were previous owners of the castle, and a fine Jacobean fireplace.
