Description:On the left can be seen the Cemetery and railings of the Carnegie Library. The Assembly Rooms are directly ahead, and the Drill Hall is on the right hand side. The Assembly rooms were built by a public subscription that celebrated Queen Victoria's Jubilee in 1887, and were opened two years later. It was used as the venue for large public meetings and theatricals, and was still used for concerts, pantomimes and such like in 2003. The Drill Hall was built in 1911 and was used by the Tamworth North Staffs Territorial Army for drill practice.
