Description:This building dates from 1558, except for the two storey end section of Sleigh's shop, which is a later addition. Before it became Sleigh's in the 1930s (until the 1950s), this part of the building was a cafe and bakery from the 1850s. In 1920 the shop owner was a gentleman by the name of Moss. Mr and Mrs Davies bought the shop in the 1950s and their family still own it. Since the 1960s it has been a ladies coat and dress shop, a carpet shop, and is now (in 2003) a cafe once more.

The left hand part of the building was Allards' saddlers, becoming a clock shop in the 1950s, and a private house in 1970. The building is now a Grade II listed building. The front was covered with stucco (platserwork) until 1907, when it was taken off for repairs to take place. Oak beams were uncovered so the stucco was not reinstated.
