Description:The photograph was taken in the garden of Old Stockwell House, which used to back onto the Nicolson Institute. Old Stockwell House was owned at this time by the Worthington family.
The lady with the bouquet is Princess Mary Adelaide, Duchess of Teck (mother of Queen Mary and cousin of Queen Victoria). To her right is Mrs Elizabeth Wardle with her grandson Lancelot Worthington. Lance's mother Margaret Elizabeth Worthington stands directly behind her mother, Mrs Wardle's daughter. His father Major Philip Worthington is on the end of the 2nd row; the only man not wearing a top hat.
