Description:Mr Cox stands proudly in front of a fire engine in the station. He is wearing a long service medal and full uniform, including a metal fire helmet. James Cox was Dept. Superintendent of Burton Town Fire Brigade (1881-1903) and Dept. Superintendent of Bass & Co.'s Fire Brigade (1903-11).
