Description:Pictured are some of the large crowd of villagers who attended the traditional Harvest Supper at Salt on Friday 25 October. In the centre is the Vicar, the Rev. W L Warrington. If you recognise anyone else in the photograph please contact us.

Salt Harvest Supper proved once again its popularity, when over 100 arrived at the parish room for the event. The attractively laid out tables were brightened with vases of chrysanthemums. Following the supper a programme of games for the younger people was arranged, and this was carried on to general dancing to the music of the Sunshine Players.

The event was organised by the Parochial Church Council with the Hopton Church Committee and many willing helpers. Proceeds were in aid of the churchyard fund.
