Description:The Cooper family enjoying an outing to the grounds of Clough Hall. Bessie, Gladys, Herbert, Ethel and Lois Cooper are pictured, and also Florence Hadley. Clough Hall can be seen in the background on the left hand side. The mansion house was built by Jon Gilbert in around 1800 and the grounds became a pleasure park in the 1890s. After World War One little interest was shown in the site, it fell into disuse and the hall was finally demolished in 1927.
