Description:This scene was much changed with the coming of the ring road and general increase in traffic. A poster on the buildings to the right hand side advertises two films at the Savoy Cinema, 'Another Language' and 'This is the Life', which opened in 1934. On the left, advertising Joule's Stone Ales is the John O'Gaunt's Castle Inn.
