Description:This house was the seat of the Kynnersley, later Sneyd-Kynnersley family during the second half of the 19th century. It was then the home of Judge Alfred Ruegg KC between 1907 and 1939. After the Second World War it was owned by Captain Ridout, and after he died, his widow and her sister, Mrs Bates. This hall was demolished in about 1986 and replaced by a purpose built nursing home for the elderly.
