Description:This aerial postcard view shows Stafford’s Market Square, with a glimpse of the Jubilee Fountain, erected in 1887 to mark Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. On the lower left is the Guildhall, in the centre the Shire Hall, top right the Borough Hall and centre right are the County Council buildings.

This postcard is unused. On the reverse it states: “This photograph was taken from an AIRCO machine flying over the town. Taken and published by The Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Ltd., The Hyde, Hendon, NW 9”.
