Description:A visitor receives a gift from the Vicar’s wife, Mrs Littleton-Perry, seen on the right alongside the Vicar of Milwich, the Rev. L Littleton-Perry, at the Milwich Church Christmas bazaar on Saturday 7 December. Please contact us if you recognise anyone else in the photograph.

The bazaar was opened by Mrs W Jackson of Stone, who was introduced by Rev. L Littleton-Perry. Mrs Jackson received a bouquet from Denise Cotton. The bazaar was well supported and the church hall was gaily decorated and had a festive atmosphere. About £63 was raised for the church heating fund and other church expenses.

The Stallholders: Fancy goods: Mrs H Hine, Mrs A Knight and Mrs F Sargeant. Groceries: the Misses J Emery, Mrs L Preece and Mrs K Gilbert. Cakes: Mrs N Eaton and Miss M Eaton. Children’s stall: Randall Knight. Miscellaneous: Miss L Moore and Mrs Foreman. Rummage stall: Miss W Hall. Competitions: Mr G Haycock, Miss E Knight and Mr A Preece. Refreshments: Mrs R Roden, Mrs F Roden and Miss J Dye.
