Description:Mr F H Darrall of 15 Brunswick Terrace keeps a watchful eye on his pet alligator, while his Mexican lizard clings to his shoulder apprehensively.
The alligator, aged between nine and twelve months old and approximately 1ft. long, could grow to around 10 ft. long but Mr Darrall only planned to keep it until it grew to about 2 ft. long and then pass it on to a zoo. He hoped to show the 2ft. 6in. lizard also known as an iguana at a forthcoming Stafford Horticultural Society show. In addition he also kept a large collection of 300 hundred tropical and cold water fish of 50 different varieties.
