Date:29th of April 1952

Description:A Boulton of the Penkridge football team receives the Borough Cup from Colonel A M L Harrison, Secretary of the Staffordshire Branch of the National Association of Boys Clubs, after the final with Doxey at Stafford Rangers’ Marston Road Ground on Tuesday 29 April. Penkridge defeated Doxey 3 – 2. On the right is Mr J E Blair, Chairman of the Stafford and District Amateur Football League. Please contact us if you recognise anyone else in the photograph.

The teams were:
Penkridge: Parkes, Johnson, Moss, Thomas, Rotchell, Turner, Harvey, Ball, Boulton, Weatherer and Addison.

Doxey: Arana, Beardsley, Watts, Butler, Anthony, Hughes, Addison, Birch, Blundell, Leecy and Geldart.
