Description:T A Rowney & Son Ltd., had a shop on Bridge Street, Stafford and a shop on the High Street in Stone. They specialised in televisions, radios, gramophone records, electrical appliances sales and service.

In the background there is a glimpse of a house and on the right are the entrance doors to Chatfield’s a funeral director. Herbert Chatfield occupied the house behind the shops, which were probably owned by his family. The shops included Julia's Bake Shop which was on the right and out of shot of the camera.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s the buildings stood derelict for several years. Part of the site was replaced by a Wimpy Kiosk and later the whole site was redeveloped and became Casa bar and night club.
