Description:Lynne aged eleven and Robert aged nine, children of Mr and Mrs T C Hartley, of Hurst Farm, Great Bridgeford. They are pictured with two rescued baby hedgehogs that they were trying to rear.

The hedgehogs nest had been disturbed and the parents disappeared. Mr Hartley wondered about the best way to feed the infants and decided to go to Stafford and buy a fountain pen filler. In this picture Robert is seen using the fountain pen filler which came in very handy for feeding the two young hedgehogs.
