Description:This postcard view shows 'Baby Day' which was organised by the Maternity and Child Welfare Committee of Stafford Council after the First World War.

Prizes were given to the best decorated prams and bonniest baby, and judging took place in Victoria Park after a parade through the town centre. These mothers and babies with their decorated prams are pictured in Victoria Park.

On the lower right of the photograph there is an inscription confirming that this picture was taken by Stafford photographer A J Guy.
