Description:This postcard view shows members of the British Red Cross Society, Staffs. No. 5, Volunteer Ambulance Drivers (VADs).

Mr Peter Griffiths has kindly provided some additional information:
"The man seated on the front row of chairs, second from the left with the large moustache and swagger stick is my great grandad, William Thomas Griffiths, who at the time of this photo lived at 87 Queensville, Stafford. His wife Edith was made commandant of the Women's No 10 VADs. We have her epaulettes with the number '10' on them and a photo her with her group, dated 1920."
