Description:This colour-tinted postcard shows a view of Main Road, Brereton, probably taken from the front of the church grounds. The old Castle Pub is on the left with barrels on the pavement edge. This was demolished in 1975 to allow for road widening. A German bomb fell in its back garden in 1940 without causing great damage. A motor vehicle is next door at the Post Office. St. Michael's Church School is on the right.
