Description:This picture was taken looking towards the west on the High Street in Eccleshall.

The white building centre left is the Bell Inn, the Midland Bank is in the centre and on the right there is the High Street Garage with petrol pumps on the pavement by the road. Most of the buildings in this view including the Bell Inn remain (May 2021), however, the former Midland Bank has become the Sancerre Wine Bar and the High Street Garage has been altered into a shopping arcade called The Arcade.
