Description:The North Staffordshire Hunt with hounds is pictured on the High Street in Eccleshall.

In the background on the left just off the picture is the Royal Oak public house. The grocer's shop in the centre was in later years was the Merckx Belgian Bar and recently it became known as the Ecclian public house. The building on the right is currently (May 2021) known as the Star Café.
