Description:This postcard view looks east along the Cannock Road in Penkridge.

In later years the hedge on the left was removed to make way for housing for Little Marsh Grove, on the right just out of the picture is Penkridge Wharf and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. The shop building remains although over the years alterations have been made and currently (April 2021) it is known as a Lifestyle Express convenience store.
