Description:The Queen Victoria statue was presented to the Borough of Newcastle by the then Mayor, Sir Alfred Seale Haslam. The statue was unveiled by H.I.H. Grand Duke Michael of Russia at this well attended ceremony. The statue was moved to Station Walks on 6th October 1963, but stood in Queen's Gardens in 2002.
