Description:Looking west along Tower street in Wolverhampton, towards Market Street. The premises of William Hayward's Cycle Works are to the left with the three-storey factory and chimney formerly belonging to E. Hands & Sons, shoe manufacturers, at the far end of the street. A note with this glass negative indicates that the factory was the scene of a fatal accident to a steeplejack at the time this photograph was taken.
