St. Mary's Church, Wheaton Aston

Date:1926 - 1930 (c.)

Description:The church was designed by Bidlake & Lovatt and dates from 1857, although the chancel by Chales Lynam is later (1893) The spire to the left is surmounted by a weather vane. The central stained glass window is significant, being a decorative three lancet pointed window.

Photographer: Albert Henry Yelland, who lived at the Hawthorns, Wheaton Aston from 1926 until his death in 1937. He was warden at St. Mary's Church for nine years.
