Description:Dressing mill stones at Wodehouse Mill, near Wombourne. The millwrights are re-cutting the furrows of the bedstone using mill bills. On the left is Charlie Howell of Offley Mill, near Eccleshall, with John Fairbanks of Kibblestone, near Stone, on the right. Wodehouse Mill, a water mill on the Wom Brook, was rebuilt in 1840 and ground corn for cattle feed. It was last in operation in 1976.
