Description:Taylor Tunnicliff display in the Trades and Industry Exhibition held on Westbridge Park as part of the Festival of Britain events held in Stone.

Taylor Tunnicliff and Co. Ltd. were founded at Eastwood, Hanley in 1867 and eventually specialised in the manufacture of ceramic insulators. In 1920 the company began building a new factory in Whitebridge Lane, Stone to manufacture telegraph insulators and high tension insulators. The factory expanded in 1929 and again in the early 1950s. By 1975 the company had become Allied Insulators and the Stone factory closed by 1985. The factory site became Whitebridge Industrial Estate.
