Description:Boast's ironmongers shop stood at 73 Uttoxeter Road, Longton and was run by Mr S. Hewitt. It was later demolished and incorporated in the Duchess China Works' building extensions. Earlier in the 20th century Boast’s had previously i been located at the corner of Commerce Street and Market Street. Boast’s ended up at Sandon Road, Meir opposite the site of the (now demolished) Broadway Cinema.
