Description:Heath House from the south west with the formal gardens in the foreground. Heath House was built for John Burton Philips in 1836 and was designed by Thomas Johnson of Lichfield. It is a large house of sandstone ashlar, built in a Tudor style. The Philips family owned the Tean Hall Mills and made their wealth through the manufacture of cotton tape.
