Description:An afternoon's entertainment is pictured here in the Queen's Gardens.
The band in the bandstand is that of the Staffordshire Regiment. The Gardens were laid out in 1897 on land that had been bought by public subscription, in order to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
