Description:St James Church Infants and Junior School in School Lane (now Webberley Lane), Longton. This photograph was taken in front of the school caretaker's house which was adjacent to the school. The house had a back gate which led into the school playground.

In this group are Alan Landon (1st row from back, 4th from the left) Gordan Baynham (front row, 4th from left) and John Daniels (back row,4th from right). The teacher is Miss Davidson.
