Description:This postcard view shows one of the most famous monuments in Lichfield Cathedral is known as the Sleeping Children. It is a memorial to the Robinson children, Ellie Jane and Marianne, who died in 1812, soon after their father. It was carved by Sir Francis Chantrey in 1820.

This postcard was published by Valentine's. It was franked in Lichfield on 5 August 1903 and sent to an address in Tenby, South Wales.
