Description:On a bright spring morning a thatcher can be seen working on a new layer of thatch by the ridge of the roof of Primrose Cottage in Mill Street, Stafford.

After Jackson’s County Fruit Stores closed in March 2018, the building was temporarily used by Stafford and Surrounds Community Food Support (Foodbank), which provided short term support to local individuals and families in need. At the time of this photograph the premises had recently become Love’s Independent Funeral Directors.
