Description:By 1911 photographer William Parton had shops at High Street and Hassell Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme. He also provided a picture framing and gilding service. His shop and studio on High Street later became Bayley's restaurant. He originally set up business in 1896 at 6, Merrial Street and was one of the town';s main photographers until 1940.
